charlie sheen CBS warCharlie Sheen sat down with the 'Today Show' for a candid conversation Monday morning and gave some insight into what is no doubt one of the more bizarre celebrity stories in recent memory.

CBS, home to Sheen's sitcom 'Two and a Half Men,' voiced concern over the actor's reported drug binges involving multiple porn stars during the past few months -- concern the actor took offense to, claiming he is at war with CBS.

"[We're] definitely at war. The war is that they are trying to destroy my family, trying to take all my money, leaving me with no means to support my family," Sheen told 'Today.' Watch clips from the interview inside!

Sheen, who (until recently) starred in the hit CBS comedy, is lauded as the highest paid television actor, reportedly making close to $2 million an episode.

Those paydays, however, are now long gone, according to CBS. The network released a statement Friday evening announcing it had halted production on the sitcom for the remainder of the season.

"Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen's statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of 'Two and a Half Men' for the remainder of the season," the network said in a statement, first reported by TMZ.

Sheen fired back, claiming he's clean of all drugs.

"Look at me, duh ... drug tests don't lie. The scoreboard doesn't lie," he said.

Sheen said that boredom led him to alcohol and drugs. He has also voiced his distaste with Alcoholics Anonymous and said he overcame his addiction problems himself.

"I closed my eyes and made it so with the power of my mind," he said of his new sobriety. The actor completed treatment with an at-home "crisis management center," which he dubbed the "Sober Valley Lodge."

"It's primary patient achieved radical success," he said with a grin, adding that he's not concerned about relapsing. Sheen labeled those who relapse as "trolls" and "weak."

He also claims he'll not pass up a glass a champagne when celebrating, but has "no interest in cocaine."

And as for continuing his Hollywood career, Sheen said he wants to continue working in TV and movies, hinting that the world has yet to see his best work.

"Come on, bro, I won best picture at 20. I wasn't even trying," he said, adding that he'll continue to work on 'Men,' but not without some more pointed comments aimed at show runner Chuck Lorre over the status of the show's scripts and the fate of the cast and crew.

After spewing out direct questions to Lorre -- including "Why is it that when I was ready to return to work, you told me there were no scripts ready to shoot?" -- Sheen read a passage from the AA Handbook about acceptance.

"Accept me, Chuck," Sheen said.

Sheen's rants toward Lorre -- including an alleged anti-Semitic remark -- and his recent radio interviews bashing CBS led to the network's decision to halt production on 'Men.'

The second half of Sheen's 'Today' interview airs Tuesday morning on NBC.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP)

Christina Aguilera says she flubbed a line as she belted out the national anthem at the start of the Super Bowl after getting lost in the moment and losing her place.

Jennifer Aniston

SUPER FANS AND CELEBS

Wish you could be there? Here's the next best thing, seeing the fans and celebs who scored the big ticket to Super Bowl XLV.
She says in a statement, "I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of it's anthem still came through."
When she was supposed to sing the line "O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming," she instead repeated an earlier line, with a slight variation.
She sang "What so proudly we watched at the twilight's last gleaming," which is the same line from earlier in the song but with the word 'watched' instead of 'hailed.'
The mistake immediately set social networks abuzz with people commenting on the error.

Pacquiao clobbers Margarito for eighth title

ARLINGTON, Texas – Manny Pacquiao was once again masterful, beating Antonio Margarito so frightfully that Margarito’s face looked as it had been pounded repeatedly by a club.
Pacquiao won a unanimous one-sided decision in a blowout from the opening seconds of the fight to capture the World Boxing Council super welterweight title before 41,734 in-awe fans at Cowboys Stadium.

Margarito, fighting for the first time in the U.S. since Jan. 24, 2009, when he was caught with an illegal knuckle pad in his gloves before a loss to Shane Mosley, was never in the fight. Pacquiao’s speed was blinding and was the difference in the fight.
Pacquiao was hurt when Margarito landed a combination to the ribs, but he spun off the ropes and landed a three-punch combination to the head. Margarito’s right eye was swollen grotesquely, beginning in the fourth. By the 10th round, the left eye was a slit, too.
Pacquiao was looking at referee Laurence Cole late in the fight, asking him to stop it. Pacquiao said he eased off in the 12th round. “I did my best,” Pacquiao said. “He’s strong. He’s a very tough fighter. I can’t believe [he took those punches].”
Pacquiao’s trainer, Freddie Roach, added, “We didn’t lose a round. I wish they had stopped the fight. They probably ruined his career by not stopping the fight.

Woodward Dream Cruise — Hot Rods/Custom Cars

If fat-fendered cars make your "rockin' world go 'round," the Woodward Dream Cruise is your sort of party. The largest one-day automotive event on the planet, this event is all about real people driving real cars on a real road. It brings an estimated 1 million people and 40,000 cars to Detroit at the end of every August, and has become a "must" event for gearheads around the world. While it's impossible to capture the entire scope of this multimile event, here is a snapshot of the coolest cars from 2010.

Julissa Brisman was shot to death when she struggled with the killer in the doorway of her hotel room at the Marriott Copley Place hotel Tuesday night. Brisman was shot multiple times in the torso and police found a plastic restraint on one wrist.
Hotel guest Jane Greenberg was reading a book in a nearby room when she heard banging and other noises coming from the hallway.
Greenberg said she heard “shrieking” – “as if a child was screaming” – and opened her door to see the Julissa Brisman unresponsive and bleeding to death in the doorway of her hotel room three doors down the hall.
Greenberg quickly called hotel security, but Brisman died a short time later at Boston Medical Center.
Police said Brisman put up a fight when the killer attempted to tie up her wrists and rob her, police said. In surveillance photos released yesterday, the murder suspect is seen wearing a black jacket with dark slacks and typing on a BlackBerry as he got off the escalator at the Marriott.
On January 17, Donna Rao – who also advertised her services on Craigslist – was tied up and robbed at the nearby Back Bay Sheraton Hotel.
The killer seems to be obssessed with his Blackberry and often wears a Red Sox cap to hide his face.

20 MOST DISTURBING SCENES EVER

Bill couldn't control his lust for Lorena even though she'd once again outmaneuvered him, but he could control whether she looked at him as he was above her — by turning her head 180 degrees around!! Not only did she show no sign of discomfort besides the dribble of blood coming out her mouth, but she smiled. For a show that's already got lots of sex and violence, this was one mixture of the two that was entirely creepy. —Abby West

top ten foods to eat during super bowl

The Super Bowl is just around the corner, and for those who don’t love football or have strong feelings about either team, the Super Bowl is all about the party. There are so many great party foods, I decided the compile a list of my 10 favorite Super Bowl foods. Warning: this list does not contain anything healthy.

I have seen a lot of Food Network shows and such where they make fancy Super Bowl food, but I have decided to stick with the classics. On my list, forks and knives are not allowed, and I’m not including anything that you’d need paycheck loans to be able to afford.
